Job Description Summary: The Enterprise Program Manager partners with the BD and customer leadership teams to execute strategy, standards, and deliver a high-quality implementation experience for our customers. The role oversees multiple concurrent BD implementation & services project teams (program) at strategic and complex customers and provides leadership for planning, implementation, service, and support across all BD MMS Solutions. This position is a BD leader responsible for critical issue resolution for each installed MMS solution. Travel: home-based with daily travel and up to 25 - 50% overnight regional travel. Candidates must live near a major airport anywhere in the U.S.
Major Responsibilities Support strategic direction of BD and provide support to the solution deployment & service teams
Serve as the central point of contact for strategic & critical challenges, applying experience in problem-solving and decision-making
Demonstrate expertise in project management methodologies and relevant clinical and technical operational workflows
Own internal and customer program leadership and operational meetings; lead Customer Value Reviews and provide program progress updates
Analyze work effort and resources across multiple projects to drive operational and implementation efficiencies
Own customer issue resolution, partnering with BD SMEs and key stakeholders to deliver timely solutions
Own Field Action communication and execution with BD and customers
Scale communication and escalation procedures with key BD and customer stakeholders
Facilitate internal communication and develop/execute mitigation plans for program risks & issues
Develop and report regular program performance metrics to leadership and stakeholders
Foster strong relationships with BD and customer stakeholders as a trusted advisor
Partner with the sales team to support opportunity curation
Responsible for customer satisfaction (OSAT & NPS)
Maintain strong industry and product knowledge
Partner with BD Product Platform and Implementation Readiness teams to prioritize customer enhancement requests
Deliver deployment & upgrade roadmaps in collaboration with product/platform teams
Collaborate with key BD stakeholders to support customer ease of doing business
Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
At least 5 years of experience with healthcare, software and/or device implementation/deployment
Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to change
Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple customers, be detail-oriented, and prioritize tasks effectively
Proficiency in CRM/Business System software and other relevant tools
Valid driver's license that meets BD's auto safety standards
Required immunizations (Hepatitis B, Influenza, MMR, Varicella, Annual TB/PPD, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis)
Ability to travel 25-50% overnight regionally
Must live near a major airport in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications MBA degree (preferred)
PMP certification (preferred)
Experience with BD Pyxis Technologies, Alaris Infusion products, Parata, MedBank, PharmacyKeeper, and the MMS portfolio
Knowledge of project management methodologies and clinical/operational workflows
Strong industry and product knowledge
Experience with customer relationship management
Note: This position emphasizes leadership, problem-solving, and experience with healthcare technology implementations. The ideal candidate combines knowledge of BD's product lifecycle with strong relationship management skills.
Additional Information
Upon hire, must provide proof of and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations as required for facility access. Proofs must include Hepatitis B, Influenza (current year), MMR, Varicella, Annual TB/PPD, and Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis.
BD prioritizes on-site collaboration to foster creativity and effective problem-solving. For most roles, a minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week is required to maintain our culture, with flexibility as needed. Remote or field-based positions will have different workplace arrangements.
