Burgess & Niple (B&N) is expanding our team in the Pacific Northwest, and we are looking for a motivated
Project Manager / Roadway Engineer
to lead an engineering design team on transportation infrastructure projects for the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), various local agencies, and other Pacific Northwest clients. Come collaborate with some of the top transportation design professionals in the industry. Responsibilities
Manage and lead transportation infrastructure design projects focusing on roadway/highway/bikeway and other facilities Lead the design and monitor task performance indicators such as budget, schedule, and risk Maintain quality control of the work product Mentor junior level staff and collaborate with Operation Leaders, Project Managers, and Professional Engineers across the firm Support proposal development and client relationship management Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil or transportation engineering program PE registration in the State of Oregon, or ability to be registered with reciprocity 10+ years of related roadway design and project management experience. Knowledge of ODOT design standards is a plus. Experience leading design tasks or serving as roadway design lead. Prior proposal development and client relationship management experience is desirable. Relationships with ODOT or local agencies a plus Proficient in MS Office Experience with Bentley OpenRoads/Civil 3D a plus Great communication and team leadership skills Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools Job details
