Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Los Angeles, CA Base pay range:
$60,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr Coda Search, in partnership with a prominent organization in the entertainment/sports sector, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Controller in cash management, month-end close, and GL maintenance. Responsibilities:
Oversee revenue activities, including posting entries, managing accounts receivable, and reconciling balances. Manage the entire accounts payable cycle: processing invoices, coding transactions, and allocating costs. Process payments via ACH, wire transfers, and checks. Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliation and journal entries. Maintain the General Ledger by recording transactions and reconciling accounts. Analyze expenditures and breakdown costs using Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables. Serve as the primary contact for vendors, addressing inquiries professionally. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. At least 2 years of experience in accounting, focusing on accounts payable or receivable. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with billing and accounts payable processes. Advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables. Additional Details:
