Title: IT Audit Director 6 months contract to hire 100% remote (must live in USA) Up to 15% travel required Overview

The IT Audit Director will lead the IT Audit function and be a member of Internal Audit’s Leadership Team. They are expected to contribute to strategic planning, process innovation, project management, conduct hands-on audits, and deliver assurance and consulting services in accordance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies. This role reports to the Chief Audit Executive. Responsibilities

Lead the IT Audit function and be the first member of the IT Audit team; collaborate with the CAE and liaise with KPMG to bring IT Audit work in-house as directed by regulators. Develop a risk-based multi-year audit plan, perform risk assessments, and oversee the execution of audits for designated areas. Collaborate with Internal Audit leadership to determine audit coverage and an integrated approach for designated businesses. Coordinate with other corporate risk and control functions to ensure activities are aligned and leveraged. Manage relationships with Senior Management and provide control advisory services on projects. Provide strategic guidance on IT audit execution using industry best practices and processes to ensure alignment with objectives. Perform IT Audits in a cloud environment and apply relevant frameworks (SOC, NIST, COBIT, etc.). Oversee the IT Audit team to ensure deadlines are met and maintain consistent methodology and professional standards. Engage with regulators where applicable and maintain effective communication with KPMG. Qualifications

Heavy Financial Services experience required; Big Banking preferred. Strong IT audit background; CISA or equivalent certifications preferred. Experience with cloud, SOC, NIST, COBIT, and IT risk management. Leadership mindset with hands-on capability and ability to build and scale a team. Willingness to work remotely from the USA and travel up to 15% as required. Benefits/Pay

Pay range: $85.00 - $110.00/hr. 40-hour work week; contract to hire. Benefits and eligibility vary by plan and terms. Work Environment
