As a core member of our Private Assets team, you will work with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon. Qualifications About You: You have a university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or hold a professional accounting designation (CFA, CGA, CMA, CA, CPA). You have 8+ years of public/private equity accounting experience. Proven leadership experience, preferably as a Vice President or equivalent. Skilled in negotiation, business planning, margin analysis, rating agency relations, and technical accounting. Strong knowledge of waterfall structures, modeling, and calculations. Successful record of delivering large-scale business/technology reengineering initiatives in private equity, hedge funds, and fund of funds. Knowledge of US GAAP and other comprehensive bases of accounting. Experience reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements. Ability to lead and motivate a team. Project management skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word), and experienced with FIS Investran PE accounting platform is highly desirable. Your Role: Lead and manage a team of managers and staff, providing guidance and support. Execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives. Oversee resource allocation and workflow to meet client SLAs. Ensure efficient daily operations. Oversee periodical Net Asset Value calculations for Private Equity Funds, including financial statements, trial balance review, and partner/shareholder allocations. Review fund-specific expenses, accounting work, capital events, investor statements, and reporting. Ensure documentation compliance with standards and regulations. Review partnership agreements, PPMs, and other materials. Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy. Liaise with various teams globally and with clients, ensuring timely responses and strong relationships. Coordinate external audits and provide technical accounting expertise. Collaborate on client onboarding, service level agreements, and process reviews. Participate in recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and professional development of team members. Act as a liaison between the team and senior management, facilitating communication and continuous improvement. Participate in technology automation and special projects to enhance efficiency. Generate ad hoc reports as needed.
