Build Kardigans investor relations function from the ground up, including financing strategy, IPO preparation, investor targeting, and ongoing engagement to drive clear understanding and optimal valuation of the companys story. Build and cultivate strong relationships with current and potential investors, including institutional firms, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals. Leverage relationships and market insight to shape Kardigans investor relations strategy and messaging. Prepare and deliver clear financial reports, presentations, and other communications for investors and analysts. Develop and deliver a consistent investor narrative aligned with company-wide communications for external audiences. Communicate Kardigans story transparently and in compliance with corporate policies and securities regulations. Monitor market trends, industry developments, competitor activity, and investor sentiment; adapt messaging and engagement plans as needed. Represent Kardigan at investor conferences, roadshows, and company events to maximize managements time. Oversee development of investor-facing materials (presentations, conference call scripts, Q&As, backgrounders) with input from development, legal, regulatory, and commercial stakeholders. Provide accurate, timely responses to external inquiries from investors, banks, and future research analysts. Model Kardigan leadership, culture, and core values in all activities. Qualifications and Preferred Skills
Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or related field (MBA or CPA preferred) 15+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, finance, and/or banking, with biotech, healthcare, or technology industry exposure Strong financial and investment analysis skills, plus excellent oral and written communication and presentation abilities Solid understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements Ability to work independently and in teams; capable of confidentially interacting with all levels and managing external vendors Experience in a leadership role, including managing teams and budgets Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Open to varied viewpoints and able to give and receive professional feedback Strong multi-project prioritization and ability to stay calm under deadline pressure Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software Compensation Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
