A private-equity owned portfolio company is seeking a VP of Finance, principally responsible for monitoring day-to-day finance activities, including financial reporting, cashflow management and compliance. This role will report to the portfolio company CFO. Responsibilities
Serve as a representative to the portfolio company on day-to-day finance-related activities and act as an effective liaison between portfolio company executive management and the Board of Directors Monitor financial performance, including KPIs, working capital, capital expenditures, debt covenants, taxes, budget, as well as general finance and accounting operations Partner with CFO to implement best-in-class cashflow management, accounting controls, and treasury operations Participate in weekly cash flow review meetings and manage rolling 13-week cash flow forecast Drive standardization in accounting, reporting and financial operations and deliver “best-in-class” tools, techniques and templates Drive timely financial reporting, including BOD presentations Qualifications
BA in Accounting or Finance CPA license required; MBA preferred PE portfolio company experience strongly preferred At least 10 years of relevant experience Excellent interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills Process-driven individual with a track record of implementing process improvements Exceptional Excel-based financial modeling and budgeting skills Strong capability with MS Office suite, PowerPoint, in particular Experience with and working knowledge of SAAS-based accounting / ERP solutions, e.g., NetSuite Seniority level
