Phoenix Pro Connect is partnering with a highly stable and fast-growing company to identify a

Senior Project Accountant . This role is a key part of the accounting team, supporting projects from pre-development through construction, stabilization, and conversion. Project Accounting & Reporting Maintain accurate and timely records for assigned development projects. Enter and review project budgets, vendor contracts, and change orders in Yardi. Review and approve invoices with proper documentation and coding. Monitor invoice aging, manage cash flow, and coordinate with development teams. Reconcile bank accounts and key balance sheet accounts (cash, AP, loans, equity, construction in progress, intercompany). Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and budget-to-actual reports. Maintain detailed schedules (development budgets, sources/uses, loan balances, equity contributions, contingencies, developer fees, cash needs). Prepare and submit monthly construction draws to lenders, investors, and funders. Partner with contractors and lenders to resolve draw issues. Manage the Notice to Owner (NTO) log, lien waivers, and payment releases. Project Phases Finance Close:

Prepare closing draw, coordinate documents, and finalize budgets in Yardi. Lease-Up:

Track and allocate operating invoices into construction draws. Stabilization & Conversion:

Reconcile G/L with final sources and uses, prepare audit schedules, manage cash flow, and assist with cost certification packages. Key Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in

real estate development accounting

(LIHTC experience strongly preferred). Demonstrated experience preparing construction draw packages and managing development budgets. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with

Yardi Voyager . Core Strengths Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities. Confident communicator with financial and operational stakeholders. Seniority level
