Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst
to join our accounting and finance team. This role is critical to ensure accurate financial reporting and SEC compliance and will be a key partner to the
Sr. Mgr of Financial Reporting
and
Chief Accounting Officer , as well as other departments ensuring the Company is well-positioned for public company standards and long-term success. It will work directly on quarterly and annual filings and support technical accounting initiatives that drive business decisions. The role requires enhancing and streamlining processes to achieve better results. Responsibilities Prepare and review quarterly financial statements and SEC filings (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, etc.). Maintain disclosure checklists and ensure compliance with GAAP and disclosure requirements. Research and document technical accounting matters to ensure GAAP and SEC compliance. Support the accounting and finance teams in meeting deadlines and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. Prepare complex accounting for equity transactions including stock-based compensation calculations and journal entries, earnings per share computations, etc. Stay up to date on changes to accounting standards and proactively identify potential impacts to the Company’s financial statements. Support ad hoc projects, analysis and management reporting initiatives. Collaborate with the CAO, Sr. Mgr of Financial Reporting, Legal, FP&A and Controller for accounting and reporting compliance within the business. Internal Controls Follow SOX controls and ensure all documentation is in accordance with SOX standards. Audit Act as a liaison with external auditors; assist in supporting the quarterly reviews and annual audit regarding financial reporting and technical accounting requests. Engage with auditors on internal controls and technical accounting matters as appropriate. Qualifications Leadership / Interpersonal Strong ability to cope with complexity and change; hands-on, proactive leader. Proactive problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ability to apply critical decision making amid shifting priorities. Effectively leads change with a focus on delivering results. Detail- and process-oriented; good understanding of business and financial issues. Solid project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to quickly grasp new concepts. Fosters a culture of growth and collaboration. Functional Recent experience with financial reporting in a public company environment or public accounting background. Strong industry knowledge is a plus but not required. Technical Experience with Workiva is a strong plus. Strong accounting background with knowledge of current U.S. GAAP and SEC disclosure requirements. Familiarity with Netsuite and FloQast is a strong plus. Knowledge of spreadsheets. Knowledge of internal controls framework required. Advanced Excel and MS Office skills. Experience 3-5+ years of general accounting experience, ideally with Big Four or public accounting experience; CPA license required.
