VP, Corporate Strategy & Development at LIV Golf

As a VP, Corporate Strategy & Development, you will play a key role in writing the future for LIV Golf through developing and owning LIV’s strategic agenda. You will lead a team responsible for investigating the most important enterprise and functional business questions that explore new growth horizons, support mergers and acquisitions activity, identify sources of competitive advantage, and strengthen LIV Golf’s position within the golf ecosystem. You will drive cross-functional partnerships around critical business questions and lead our annual strategic planning process. Reporting to the SVP of Corporate Strategy and Performance, key stakeholders for this role include LIV’s CEO and COO, our Executive Leadership Team, the Chief of Staff, and peers in Finance and Insights, among others.

About LIV Golf

The LIV Golf League is the world’s only global golf league featuring 13 teams, a 14-tournament schedule, and many of the world’s best golfers. Launched in 2022, the League was designed to expand the sport on a global level and create new value within the golfing ecosystem while enhancing the game’s societal impact. A landmark investment by LIV Golf also launched The International Series, a set of 10 enhanced events sanctioned by the Asian Tour, with elevated prize funds in world-class destinations, offering a pathway for leading professional and amateur golfers from around the world into the LIV Golf League. LIV Golf is owned and operated by LIV Golf Investments, focused on holistic and sustainable investments to enhance the global golf ecosystem.

Who We Are Looking For

As our VP, Corporate Strategy & Development, you will:

Partner with executive leadership to identify strategic and operational risks and opportunities that unlock both immediate and long-term value

Create, prioritize, align and direct LIV's company-wide strategic agenda, covering the most critical strategic questions across the enterprise

Lead cross-functional strategic projects against priorities, in close partnership with League and Team leadership

Connect the dots across functional strategies to drive cohesion and integration, unlocking sustainable value

Develop and institutionalize processes and ways of working across the company to ensure strategies are set, tracked, and executed in close partnership with Finance and the functions

Own the creation of materials and oversee the successful delivery of touchpoints with the Board, investors, advisors, and key partners across the golf landscape

Provide strategic thought leadership to the executive leadership team, strategy leadership team, and beyond as relevant

Develop a team of strategy directors, managers, and analysts

Required Experience

10+ years strategy development experience in global companies or at a top-tier consulting firm

Sports industry expertise with deep golf knowledge is highly preferred

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training

MBA or other relevant post-graduate qualification would be advantageous

Experience in corporate development, mergers & acquisitions

Strong analytical and financial skills, including business modelling expertise

Ability to drive work through ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced, results-oriented environment

Demonstrated ability to create compelling presentations that story-tell, influence, and persuade

Experience partnering with leadership across all organizational levels
