Senior Accountant

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Annapolis, MD. Responsibilities Senior Accountant will manage client engagements, including onboarding new clients and maintaining ongoing relationships Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Reconcile accounts and perform variance analysis Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee bookkeeping and accounting functions for assigned clients Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and firm policies Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred but not required 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within public accounting or client services Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees.
