CV Resources is partnering with a mechanical service provider in Santa Ana in search for a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Senior Accountant . This role will be responsible for AR and AP, managing key aspects of the general ledger, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will also play a critical role in process improvements, internal controls, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, HR, and senior management. Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments. Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Support the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors. Maintain internal controls and compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Review payroll entries as needed. Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and decision support. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred. 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and financial reporting. Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks. Proficiency with Sage Intacct or similar ERP/accounting software. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across departments. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Details
