Client Relations Associate — Private Wealth Management – Korean/English Bilingual

Location: Fort Lee, NJ – in-office with flexible arrangements as required. Salary: $65,000 to $95,000 annual (DOE). Overview

As a Client Relations Associate, you will be a trusted point of contact for clients, support wealth advisors, and partner with the Client Relations team to enhance the client experience and support the achievement of clients’ financial goals. The role offers client-facing and behind-the-scenes exposure with mentorship and professional development opportunities. Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Support:

Act as a liaison for clients, respond promptly to inquiries, coordinate across internal teams, and deepen relationships through proactive service that anticipates client needs. Administrative & Operational Support:

Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to wealth advisors, including processing client service requests, opening and maintaining brokerage accounts (typically at Fidelity), handling ACAT transfers, initiating wires, and coordinating client paperwork with custodians. Operational Excellence:

Prepare and ensure accuracy of client deliverables such as meeting materials, financial overviews, and service documentation, maintaining high standards of completeness and timeliness. Wealth Solution Coordination:

Collaborate with wealth advisors, portfolio managers, financial planners, custodians, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated client solutions. Meeting Preparation & Support:

Schedule client meetings, coordinate agendas, prepare materials and meeting minutes, and ensure smooth execution. Financial Planning Data Gathering:

Collect and organize client financial information (statements, tax returns, estate documents, insurance policies) and enter data into financial planning software (eMoney). Follow up with clients to obtain outstanding information for advisor meetings. Document & Compliance Management:

Maintain client records and documentation, ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory standards. Systems & CRM Maintenance:

Use CRM tools, custodial platforms, and workflow software to track client projects and support service delivery. Risk & Policy Adherence:

Ensure activities align with firm policies, maintaining confidentiality and risk mitigation. Regulatory & Compliance Support:

Coordinate with Compliance on regulatory requirements, deliver disclosures (Form ADV, CRS, Privacy Notices), track receipt, assist with KYC/AML updates, and support audits and exams for client documentation. Client Communication & Event Support:

Draft personalized correspondence, coordinate client events and webinars, and support digital communications to enhance client relationships. Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required. Interest in pursuing advanced certifications (e.g., CPA, CFP, CFA) within 1–3 years encouraged. Experience:

2–4 years in wealth management, private banking, family office, or client service roles with direct experience in brokerage accounts, custodial paperwork, and cash/asset transfers. Technical Proficiency:

Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Teams). Experience with custodial platforms (Fidelity Wealthscape preferred), CRM and portfolio management systems. Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity. Familiarity with DocuSign and digital meeting platforms (Zoom/Teams). Communication & Personal Attributes:

Strong verbal and written communication, professionalism, empathy, discretion, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Additional Knowledge:

Familiarity with trust accounting and trust structures (preferred but not required). Preferred Qualifications

Korean/English Bilingual:

Fully bilingual (speaking, reading, writing) is a plus. Compensation & Benefits:
