$105,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Additional compensation types

Annual Bonus Responsibilities

Lead the monthly accounting close for crypto entities, including reconciling blockchain and API data, analyzing variances, and posting journal entries. Record and monitor digital asset transactions (purchases, sales, loans, token deals, transfers), ensuring accuracy and compliance. Support profit & loss reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and anomaly reviews with clear documentation. Review contracts for unique financial terms, advising on appropriate accounting treatment. Drive process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Partner with tax, operations, and data teams to ensure complete and accurate reporting across the business. Assist with external audits, tax filings, and prepare supporting schedules. Conduct accounting research and draft memos addressing emerging crypto transactions and evolving standards. Provide expertise on controls and reconciliations for high-volume, complex digital asset activity. Qualifications

4+ years of experience in accounting or a related finance role. Background in public accounting with Crypto/Digital Asset clients or experience working as an accountant focused on Crypto/Digital Assets. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA (or equivalent) strongly preferred. Background in the trading industry, accounting, and/or crypto is highly valued. Understanding of blockchain technology and crypto mechanics; experience with block explorers is a plus. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets); SQL or Python exposure is a bonus. Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is helpful. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills. Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
