is seeking a
Senior Accounting Analyst
to join its Digital Assets Finance team. This newly created role will focus on the accounting and reporting of
cryptocurrency and blockchain-based transactions
as the firm expands its presence in digital assets. This is a high-visibility role where you’ll combine
traditional accounting expertise
with a passion for crypto and emerging technologies, supporting trading activities, investments, and cross-department initiatives. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are excited about bridging the gap between finance and digital innovation. Key Responsibilities
Own month-end close for one or more crypto entities, including reconciliations of blockchain/API data and journal entry posting. Track and record digital asset transactions (purchases, sales, loans, token deals, transfers), ensuring accurate financial reporting. Support P&L reporting and balance sheet reconciliations for crypto-related activity. Review and analyze contracts for accounting considerations tied to digital assets. Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and scalable solutions. Collaborate cross-functionally with tax, operations, and data teams to ensure accuracy of reporting. Assist with external audits and tax reporting, providing documentation and supporting schedules. Perform reconciliations and controls for high-volume, complex crypto transactions. Research and draft technical memos on emerging crypto transactions and evolving accounting standards. What We’re Looking For
4+ years of experience in accounting or finance. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field;
CPA strongly preferred . Experience in trading industry accounting and/or digital assets a plus. Working knowledge of blockchain technology and crypto transaction mechanics. Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with SQL or Python a plus. Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
