Prominent client seeks an experienced and driven Accounting Manager to contribute to the organization’s financial strategy and long-term success. In this role, you’ll oversee key accounting functions, lead a team, and ensure the accuracy and compliance of all financial reporting. By maintaining effective financial controls, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies, you’ll play a pivotal role in securing the company’s financial health and supporting its growth. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Accounting Department team. Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including invoicing and adherence to financial deadlines. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including balance sheet schedules, and resolve discrepancies. Monitor the financial status of enterprise companies to ensure their success. Conduct strategic data analysis, research, and modeling to support senior leadership decision-making. Review and validate project costs and margins, assisting with pricing strategies. Provide analysis and validation of financial plans and respond to ad-hoc project requests.
What You Bring To The Role
At least 5 years of management experience in accounting and invoicing. 2+ years of experience with NetSuite and QuickBooks. NetSuite is a must. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. The ability to analyze complex data and deliver actionable insights. Strong communication skills to effectively partner with senior leadership. Exceptional judgment, analytical abilities, and decision-making skills. Familiarity with supply chain processes and pricing models to track client margins effectively. Expertise in job costing and advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. The ability to work onsite Monday through Friday.
