On-site to Gaithersburg, MD Benefits:
Addison Group's client has benefit offerings that include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s or MBA is a plus. Active CPA license highly preferred Background out of public or Big 4 preferred 6+ years progressive accounting Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and internal control frameworks. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. ERP system experience Job Description: Analyze PPAs, milestone-based contracts, and other revenue arrangements including rev recognition in accordance with IFRS 15 or ASC 606. Partner with FP&A to ensure accurate revenue forecasting and compliance with evolving guidance. Evaluate new and modified debt structures and debt accounting (in accordance with IFRS 9). Assess classification, derecognition, and impairment. Coordinate with Treasury and Legal. Provide accounting guidance on tax equity structures (e.g., partnership flips, leases). Align with Tax and Legal teams. Support SOX compliance and documentation. Oversee lease classification and measurement. Maintain lease data (within ASC 842) and support audit and disclosure processes. Define capitalization criteria. Review project costs for compliance. Collaborate with Engineering and Ops for cost tracking. Conduct SOX testing, maintain internal controls, and support quarterly/annual financial reporting. Coordinate with auditors and document technical positions. Seniority level
