What You’ll Do As an Events Senior Specialist at BCG’s *Insert Office*, you’ll play a leading role within the Office Experience team, overseeing complex internal events and maintaining exceptional standards of hospitality, affiliation, and culture. You’ll independently manage planning and logistics from start to finish for high-profile events, including marquee celebrations, senior leadership meetings, offsites, and activities focused on employee engagement. You will also strategically collaborate across teams, proactively suggest innovative event formats, and mentor junior colleagues to deliver consistently high-quality experiences aligned with BCG’s values and standards.
Independently planning, managing, and executing diverse events ranging from large-scale, high-visibility gatherings such as office-wide celebrations, retreats, and leadership summits to specialized, intimate experiences designed to strengthen affiliation.
Serving as the primary project lead for complex events, managing detailed logistics including vendor management, contracts, budgeting, space design, catering, AV coordination, and overall event flow.
Partnering strategically with internal stakeholders and leadership to define event goals, scope, themes, and communication strategies, ensuring alignment with BCG’s business objectives and culture.
Managing event communications by crafting compelling invitations, handling RSVPs, conducting targeted outreach, and analyzing attendee feedback to continually enhance future events.
Owning budget creation and financial management, tracking expenses, negotiating vendor agreements, and ensuring timely and transparent financial reconciliation and reporting.
Leading onsite event execution, overseeing setup, registration, guest services, speaker coordination, issue resolution, and post-event follow-up.
Building and maintaining strategic vendor relationships, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and reliability from service providers.
Actively mentoring junior team members by sharing expertise, providing constructive feedback, and upholding consistent execution standards.
Contributing proactively to ongoing process improvements by developing event planning tools, templates, best practices, and resource libraries.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Facilities, Concierge, IT, and Admin Services to seamlessly integrate services and elevate the attendee experience.
Leading or supporting special Office Experience initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and office culture.

What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
4 to 6 years of progressive experience in events management, hospitality, or administrative support, ideally within a professional services or corporate environment.
Extensive hands-on experience independently managing and executing complex internal and external events.
Proven experience managing stakeholder relationships, budgets, vendor negotiations, and event logistics coordination.
Demonstrated ability to mentor or guide junior team members and support their professional growth.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a refined approach to hospitality.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, event management software, and digital communication platforms.
Availability to work occasional overtime for events and required to be in-office five days per week.
Additional info This role currently requires 5 days a week in office presence. This in-office plan allows for critically important learning, collaboration and networking with our colleagues.
Benefits Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below. The base salary range for this role is $73,000 - $81,000.
