Real Estate - Tax Senior Manager or Director

Overview
We're looking for a Tax Senior Manager or Director to join a growing real estate private equity firm. You will take ownership over tax strategy, structuring, and compliance - working closely with the CFO and other key leadership as they evaluate new transactions and strategic growth opportunities. $175,000.00/yr - $215,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Serve as the go-to subject matter expert on all tax matters—structuring, compliance, planning, and risk management. Manage tax compliance across multiple investment vehicles, including partnerships and other real estate-related entities. Lead tax structuring and planning for acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings, and fund formations. Manage relationships with external tax advisors and ensure accuracy and timeliness of filings and deliverables. Collaborate with investment, legal, finance, and accounting teams to align tax considerations with deal execution and fund strategy. Coordinate K-1 and tax return processes for both entity-level and investor-level reporting. Implement and maintain internal processes to streamline tax-related workflows and improve operational efficiency. Advise senior leadership and contribute to strategic decisions with a tax lens. Qualifications
7+ years of relevant experience in real estate tax, ideally with a mix of public accounting and private equity or real estate firm experience. Deep understanding of partnership tax, REITs, real estate fund structures, and investment vehicles. Proven experience managing compliance processes across complex entity structures. Strong tax technical skills combined with commercial judgment and a strategic mindset. Exceptional communication and project management abilities. CPA and/or MST preferred. Why Work Here
