Director, Cost Management position located in New York, NY. Full-time role with responsibilities in leading preconstruction and cost management services for a large-scale opportunity within the infrastructure and transportation sector. The organization is a growing cost management consultancy with a strong industry reputation. Responsibilities

Consult executive level existing clientele, prioritizing client needs and showcasing services that position Cumming as an industry leader. Increase services to existing clientele by delivering solutions and developing new revenue opportunities. Participate in recruitment and development of diverse, talented team members. Partner with other service line leaders to provide an integrated project approach and differentiate Cumming from competitors. Prepare fee proposals and negotiate professional services agreements. Provide quality assurance to cost estimates before submittal to clients. Offer suggestions to senior leadership on cost management operations and on company, regional, and sector goals. Oversee quality of team output and coach for excellent performance. Grow revenue across diverse service offerings or markets. Be accountable for fiscal performance in line with company goals. Provide timely business reporting for forecasts and other requirements. Interpret company results and P&L for the area of responsibility and report to senior management. Mentor and lead team development. Approve invoices and coordinate with Finance & Administration on accounts receivable. Set strategy for business development and marketing. Provide organizational leadership in the area of responsibility. Perform other duties as assigned and attend work during normal business hours. Knowledge & Skills

Proactively influence changes and develop scalable solutions that further organizational goals. Identify and drive accountabilities. Nurture regional/global team member and client relationships. Identify resources to remain current and network externally. Mentor and develop key team members, potentially outside the direct chain of command. Demonstrate solid managerial abilities. Proven business development growth skills. Preferred Education and Experience

Education: BS in Construction, Cost & Commercial Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field Experience: 9 to 12 years in Cost & Commercial Management; 5+ years leading client expectations and managing a business unit Prior experience in the infrastructure and/or transportation sector is required Preferred Certification: MRICS, AssocRICS, CCP, CEP, CPE or equivalent Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time role is 144,300.00-202,033.36 per year. Ranges are based on position, geography, client and industry experience and level. This range reflects base salary only, not total compensation. The group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range based on candidate experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
