Kforce has a client that is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager in Tampa, FL. Overview: We are seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Manager to join our Finance Department, responsible for leading the company's SEC reporting and technical accounting activities. This hands-on role will oversee the preparation and filing of 10-Qs, 10-Ks, MD&A, and related disclosures, while ensuring compliance with SEC, GAAP, and PCAOB standards. The Financial Reporting Manager will also support technical accounting research, monitor new standards, and play a key role in shaping SOX compliance and internal controls. In addition, this position provides leadership and mentorship to a Senior Accountant and collaborates cross-functionally with Investor Relations, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and Legal to support the company's growth and evolving reporting needs. Requirements
B.S. in Accounting required; Master\'s degree preferred; CPA preferred 5-8 years of relevant work experience, including Big Four public accounting (audit or advisory) Current SEC reporting experience Strong Financial reporting and controls experience for a company with multiple subsidiaries and complex consolidations Experience with equity transactions, FX transactions, and complex consolidations a plus Familiarity with SEC, PCAOB, GAAP and SOX requirements Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to convey complex accounting matters Able to own end to end process of filing 10-Q\'s, 10-K\'s, XBRL Tagging, etc. Experience in a leadership role; Will have 1 direct report that you will help teach and develop Notes
