A boutique CPA firm serving privately held businesses, investment partnerships, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals is seeking a senior tax partner to join its leadership team. The firm provides comprehensive tax compliance and advisory services across a range of industries, with an emphasis on partnership structures, flow-through entities, and sophisticated tax planning. Position Summary:

The Tax Partner (CPA) will oversee client engagements, provide technical leadership in partnership taxation, and drive business development initiatives. This role requires deep knowledge of complex partnership allocations, transactional planning, and multi-tier structures, combined with the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to entrepreneurial clients and investors. Key Responsibilities

Lead tax compliance and strategic planning for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and high-net-worth individuals. Provide guidance on complex partnership allocations, Section 704(b)/704(c) issues, basis adjustments, and multi-state filings. Advise clients on entity structuring, reorganizations, M&A transactions, and succession planning. Review and sign off on federal, state, and local tax returns for diverse client portfolios. Mentor and develop tax teams, fostering technical proficiency and leadership skills. Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to expand advisory services. Stay current on evolving tax laws and regulatory developments impacting flow-through entities and private investment structures. Participate in firm leadership, strategic initiatives, and practice growth efforts. Qualifications

Active CPA license required. 10+ years of public accounting experience with a strong emphasis on partnership taxation. Broad technical knowledge of federal, state, and local taxation across multiple entity types. Demonstrated success in client relationship management and business development. Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and team-building abilities. Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in a boutique or growth-oriented firm preferred. Opportunity Highlights
