W3Global . We are seeking a Controller to be the financial backbone of the firm. This is a hands-on role responsible for tracking all financial numbers, managing accounting operations, cash management and producing clear, detailed financial reports. The Controller will also help leadership understand the financial health of the business through accurate reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Responsibilities
Own all monthly close processes and maintain a clean, accurate general ledger. Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow). Perform variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and explain financial trends to leadership. Develop and improve internal financial controls and reporting systems. Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing visibility into revenue and expenses. Coordinate with outside tax and audit professionals as needed. Create and track key financial KPIs relevant to the trading business. Provide ad hoc analysis to leadership for decision-making. Manage yield on cash positions. Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA strongly preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 2 years in a senior accounting or controller role. Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control practices. Advanced proficiency with Excel and familiarity with accounting/ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar). Experience in financial services or trading. Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly present financial results. Self-starter with high attention to detail and a hands-on approach.
