Christensen, Inc. Reporting to the CFO, the Division Controller is an integral member of Christensen's Finance Leadership Team (FLT) and a key partner to the Operations Business Unit Leader. The successful candidate will lead key business unit functions and process towers, manage assets and inventory, and drive O2C, reporting, and governance for the business unit. There are three Division Controller roles to support Christensen’s three distinct businesses: Retail Fuel/Dealer Division, Commercial Division, and FleetCard Division. The role requires a hands-on, detail-focused leader who can operate with minimal direction, act as a business owner, and partner with senior leadership to support growth. The Division Controller will mentor a team, drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and deliver timely, insightful financial information to senior leadership. Note: The description reflects current expectations and may evolve with the company’s growth plans. Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the Division Controller Team to deliver high-quality financial reporting and analytics. Own and manage the Record-to-Report (R2R) process tower as outlined by the Corporate Controller and Corporate Assistant Controller. Prepare the annual budget and partner with business unit leadership to manage to the budget. Manage and report on assets and inventory for the business unit. Oversee the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process tower for the business unit. Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities; ensure Balance Sheet integrity and accuracy. Manage fixed assets and prepare business cases to request capital investments. Provide reporting (metrics, KPIs, ad hoc, financial) and support senior leadership with insights and recommendations. Drive process improvements across end-to-end finance and accounting towers; document and implement transformation initiatives. Maintain a “no surprise” mentality in financial reporting and collaborate with peers, leadership, and stakeholders to deliver timely results. Support external audit activities and comply with tax regulations in collaboration with the Controller and Tax Director. Develop and deliver business insights through data analysis during budgeting and forecasting. Design and implement repeatable, scalable processes; ensure policy compliance across all owned areas. Maintain alignment with the CFO, FLT, OCFO principles, and business unit leadership. Lead organizational development initiatives, including talent development, training, and performance management. Ensure travel requirements are met (approximately 25%, mainly domestic). Identify opportunities for improvement and drive implementation with documented business cases. Leadership & Team Reach

Demonstrated ability to contribute to a growth-focused organization; high time-management expectations. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; MBA or advanced degree preferred; CPA license or MBA with accounting knowledge required. 4+ years as a controller (corporate, division, or assistant) with FP&A experience; experience in fuel or commodity distribution preferred. Strong US GAAP knowledge; experience with complex transactions and financial close. 3+ years automating processes and/or system implementations; deep understanding of process towers. 2+ years in process and control documentation and transformation/improvement; hands-on leadership of accounting teams. Experience with automation tools (e.g., ServiceNow, FloQast, Smartsheet) and general ledger management. Strong communication skills, ability to influence decisions, and collaboration across levels. Excellent organizational and analytical skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Flexibility to operate during ongoing organizational change and to drive a defined maturity roadmap with measurable metrics. Physical & Mental Demands
