Accounting Manager with a publicly-traded industry leader. The Accounting Manager is a high-profile, high-growth role involving a mix of accounting and management reporting, including special projects and process improvements. Responsibilities
Support the daily/weekly/monthly operations of the Accounting department Establish and maintain adherence to financial close deadlines Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles Review monthly/quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations Produce, interpret, and develop ad-hoc financial reporting as needed Assist the team with external audit requests Assist with various projects determined by Director/Controller to maintain/develop best practices related to tasks, workflow, and reporting from the Workday ERP system Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed Assist with intercompany transactions, consolidations and GAAP reporting Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting CPA required Minimum of 7+ years of accounting experience Experience at a publicly traded company highly preferred Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Strong problem-solving skills with minimal direction Great attention to detail and accuracy Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple tasks and strict deadlines Quality-minded; motivated to identify and address errors Understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting requirements Seniority level
