A large, multi-state distribution company seeks a Director of Risk Management to lead enterprise-wide risk strategy, insurance programs, safety operations, and regulatory compliance. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is a strategic and hands-on opportunity to shape risk management at scale. The Director will oversee the property and casualty insurance portfolio, manage all claims and litigation, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory agencies, including OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, and EPA. The role requires collaboration across departments to reduce operational risk, implement data-driven safety programs, and cultivate a culture of accountability from the field to the executive team. Lead enterprise-wide risk strategy and implement data-driven safety programs across a multi-location organization. Oversee the property and casualty insurance portfolio, manage all claims and litigation. Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, EPA). Collaborate with departments to reduce operational risk and promote a culture of accountability from field to executive leadership. Qualifications
Minimum of five years of experience in multi-location risk management; distribution experience is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Bachelor’s degree required. Employment details
