Senior GL Accountant Position Overview: Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team in California. Responsibilities: Managing the full cycle of accounting processes with a focus on heavy General Ledger (G/L) duties. Overseeing the monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Preparing comprehensive financial statements and reports for management review. Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and compliance. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency. Providing leadership and guidance to junior accounting staff as needed. Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with a strong background in G/L management. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments. Required Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 1st shift, full-time onsite in California. Benefits: The company offers a competitive salary range of $95,000 to $110,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that supports the well-being of its employees.
