Senior Accountant

as a key member in our Corporate Finance team. You will provide management and investors timely and accurate information, and be responsible for general accounting duties including the preparation of month-end journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations, and standard and ad hoc reports. Hybrid schedule may be available; residence within commuting distance of MicroVision’s Redmond, WA headquarters is required unless otherwise arranged. The pay range for this Washington-based position is $95,000 - $115,000 on an annual basis. Exact compensation offers will vary based on skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for a new hire equity grant and/or a performance-based equity incentive plan. Responsibilities

Assist in Month-end Closing by preparing various journal entries with supporting documentation Review Inventory subsidiary ledger, ensuring inventory transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP Review and record company’s investment activities Trend review to analyze expense accounts for correct coding and accrual of liabilities Analyze revenue contracts to ensure revenue recognition and cost of goods sold are in compliance with GAAP Analyze and record operating and finance lease accounting for accurate reporting under ASC 842 Maintain fixed asset subsidiary ledger Perform monthly reconciliations to support the completeness and accuracy of applicable balance sheet accounts Assist with consolidation of financial statements, including elimination of intercompany activities Assist with preparation of financial statements, including Statement of Cash Flows, Other Comprehensive Income, and Income Statement Posting of cash receipts Assist in wire transfers Prepare standard monthly and quarterly reports Assist in preparation of SEC financial reporting Participate in external/internal reporting and compliance audits Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes Ownership of processes and projects Prepare ad-hoc analyses and support the Controller on projects as needed Perform additional accounting responsibilities, as needed Required Skills/Abilities

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent in accounting or finance, 5-7 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Must have monthly organization closing process experience Knowledge and experience in ASC 842 and ASC 606 Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation Highly detail-oriented; flexible and open to new ideas and processes Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail; good judgment and logical decision-making Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization Prefer high-tech or R&D industry experience Broad accounting exposure is highly desired Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information Flexible with overtime, if necessary, during quarter-end and year-end close and reporting cycle Excellent knowledge of GAAP ERP or similar experience, preferably Netsuite Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook Benefits
