Banking Officer/Human Resources Specialist | SHRM Certified Professional SUMMARY The Managing Director Credit Risk reports to the Chief Credit and Risk Officer and oversees the credit risk management of the bank. They are responsible for assessing and mitigating the potential risks to the bank’s profitability as well as advising on credit policies and standards. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops and implements credit risk policies and procedures for the bank. Monitors and assesses the bank’s credit risk exposure across all operations. Oversees the credit risk assessment of potential clients and makes informed credit decisions. Manages the portfolio of credit risks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines. Generates and presents credit risk reports to senior leadership. Coordinates with other departments to implement effective credit risk strategies. Identifies, evaluates, and mitigates credit risks associated with the bank’s operations. Implements and maintains credit scoring systems and models to enhance risk management processes. Oversees the annual CRE (Commercial Real Estate) stress testing process/project. Analyzes the bank’s loan portfolio to ensure an ongoing adequate ACL (Allowance for Credit Losses) balance on a monthly or quarterly basis. Regularly evaluates loan requests and either approves, denies, or proposes changes to new or renewing loans. Acts as the primary point of contact internally for real estate appraisals. Works with the bank’s vendor, RDK, to ensure the appraisal process complies with regulations. Manages relationships with key clients and stakeholders to minimize credit risks. Stays updated with market trends and regulatory changes that impact credit risk. Trains, supervises, and delegates assignments to their team, holding them accountable through coaching, constructive criticism, assessment, and disciplinary action when required by establishing clearly defined responsibilities and performance expectations while assuring full compliance with all policies and procedures. Performs other responsibilities as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent experience required. Experience: 10+ years credit risk management and banking experience required. Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, qualifying motor vehicle record report, and reliable transportation.
