We are currently filling the following direct-hire position with our client. Summary We are seeking a Plant Controller to lead the financial function at a large manufacturing converting plant. The Plant Controller will drive timely, accurate financial reporting and analysis, partner with operations to improve performance, and provide strategic decision support to site leadership. Responsibilities
Manage the plant month-end close, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis. Prepare monthly financial packages and forecasts for site and senior management. Supervise and develop the plant finance team and oversee inventory control processes. Maintain and strengthen internal controls; support internal and external audits (inventory and fixed assets). Provide financial analysis and decision support for operational initiatives and cross-functional projects, including customer profitability and pricing. Coordinate the annual budgeting process and monitor financial performance against plans. Partner with plant leadership to identify and validate cost savings and continuous improvement opportunities. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing finance/accounting role, including supervisory responsibility. Strong experience with month-end close, P&L management, forecasting, and budgeting. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred). Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills; able to present financial results and recommendations to operations and senior management. Other
