Annual Bonus About the Role
The Plant Controller serves as the
top finance leader for the facility , with full P&L responsibility and direct involvement in operational decision-making. This individual will partner closely with plant management, commercial teams, and regional leadership to drive financial performance, support strategic initiatives, and ensure accurate and timely reporting. The Plant Controller will oversee all site-level financial planning, forecasting, and analysis activities, working in coordination with centralized accounting and corporate finance functions. Key Responsibilities
Act as a
strategic business partner
to plant and regional leadership, contributing financial insight to operational and commercial decisions. Lead all aspects of
financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking
for the facility. Monitor key metrics and operational drivers; analyze variances against plans and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance. Own site-level financial reporting , ensuring compliance with internal policies and US GAAP. Build financial acumen across the facility leadership team through education and partnership. Perform detailed analysis of revenue, expenses, margins, production data, and capital investments to support strategic initiatives. Drive
continuous improvement
initiatives to strengthen financial processes and operational performance. Coordinate with centralized accounting on month-end close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations. Prepare and present variance analyses, risk assessments, and financial narratives for leadership. Support both internal and external audit requirements. Execute special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed. Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Minimum 10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing or plant environment. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; able to synthesize complex information and provide clear recommendations. Proven ability to
lead financial operations at the facility level , partnering with operational leaders. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. Seniority level
