The Justrite Manufacturing Site,
Plant Controller , will play a vital role in the business’s operating performance. The position will be responsible for oversight of the Justrite Safety Group site performance, including site financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and providing strategic advice to plant and BU management on key drivers influencing site performance. The Plant Controller ensures accurate and timely financial information for decision-making while fostering a controlled environment that maintains integrity. The individual will participate as an active member of the plant leadership team, driving improvements in site-level performance and serving as a subject-matter expert in cost accounting to improve product line costing and overall plant productivity. In this role, you will report directly to the Business Unit Controller, setting the stage for your career to soar. This role offers opportunities for advancement within 3–5 years as you contribute to organizational goals. About the Team

What You'll Do at Justrite
Site Financial Reporting Leads financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes Prepares and delivers the plant financial forecasts and projections to Plant Leader Monitors the plant's monthly closing process in conjunction with the accounting team Communicates results effectively to management and non-financial personnel Provides in-depth analysis on variances to plan and forecast with the Site Ops Leader(s) and holds leadership accountable to plant budget and forecast Provides risk analysis for contingency planning Budgeting and Forecasting Participates in development of annual operational objectives for the plant aligned to Corporate and BU strategic objectives Leads updating forecasts quarterly to provide a real-time assessment of site results and near-term outlook Monitors performance against budgets and forecast, providing insights and recommendations for improvement; leads proactive development of contingency plans and productivity improvements Drive Plant Profitability & Productivity Leads actions to achieve targets, mitigate risk, and prioritize resources Provides insightful analytics that anticipate change and drive decision making Provides investment analysis to outline appropriate return on investment Educates plant personnel on key performance metrics and ensures metrics are tracked with high audit standards Communicates the difference between hard savings that influence the P&L and cost avoidance savings Compliance, Regulatory Reporting and Internal Controls Ensures an effective system of internal controls, data integrity, asset protection, appropriate approvals, budgeting, financial reporting, information systems, and adherence to corporate policies and regulations (GAAP, tax compliance, etc.) Supports tax filings and annual corporate audit with tax and corporate accounting teams Helps implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure fiscal integrity Identifies and mitigates financial risk through proactive analysis and control Product Costing & Cost Accounting SME Establishes and maintains standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead, updating them as needed Analyzes variances between actual and standard costs to identify improvement opportunities Prepares and analyzes cost reports, budgets, and forecasts to support planning Identifies opportunities to optimize costs and improve production efficiency Ensures accurate valuation of inventory (raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods) Cross-Functional Leadership & Team Contribution Works across organization boundaries to achieve plant and BU goals Supports plant events and leads/participates in teams (Kaizens, Six Sigma projects, etc.) Shares best practices with other JSG sites and aligns teams to drive results Provides on-site leadership presence and supports team members Your Skills and Expertise To ensure your success from day one, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field 7+ years of progressive experience with a strong manufacturing focus Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards; cost accounting principles and drivers of plant variances Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Syteline preferred, SAP, Oracle, Frontier, etc.) Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities Comfortable working on the plant floor and interacting with site leadership Compensation The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000. Actual base salaries will vary based on location, relevant experience, and performance. The role is eligible for an annual incentive plan tied to business and financial targets. Benefits
