Accounting Manager
to lead and oversee the financial operations of our organization. This individual will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting strategic financial decision-making. Responsibilities
Lead and manage the accounting team responsible for financial reporting, payroll, and budget preparation. Oversee the preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets. Ensure the timely and accurate production of financial statements in compliance with GAAP and other applicable financial reporting standards. Coordinate and support all internal and external audit activities, serving as the primary point of contact for external auditors. Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights, with a focus on cost control and operational efficiency. Present financial reports and recommendations to senior leadership to inform short- and long-term financial planning. Monitor and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations, including payroll and sales tax filings. Identify training needs and oversee professional development initiatives for accounting staff. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve workflow and internal controls. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required. CPA certification or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is strongly preferred. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management roles. Prior leadership experience managing accounting teams. Proficiency in Sage Intacct is required. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior leadership. High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
