A busy and fast-paced immigration law firm is hiring a knowledgeable Immigration Attorney for its Rockville, MD office. This opportunity is perfect for an attorney who thrives in a high-volume environment and is committed to helping clients navigate the U.S. immigration process. The position can be structured as full-time or contract, based on the candidate’s experience and availability. Responsibilities
Draft and file a variety of immigration petitions and applications, including: Family-based and employment-based petitions Adjustment of Status NACARA, TPS, Asylum, and Waivers Immigrant and non-immigrant visas PERM, EB-5, H-1B Maintain current knowledge of immigration law and policy Engage with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide updates Represent clients in proceedings and appointments before: USCIS ICE CBP Immigration Courts (non-litigation appearances only) Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school Active bar license in Maryland (in good standing) At least 3 years of hands-on immigration law experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and client service abilities Technologically proficient with immigration law platforms and case management tools Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required Get notified about new Immigration Attorney jobs in Rockville, MD.
