Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
Hawthorne Lane is a boutique staffing firm specializing in recruitment for Paralegal roles in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. We work with a select group of small, mid-sized, and global law firms and corporate legal departments looking to hire top notch Paralegal professionals.

Key Responsibilities
Manage large cases, coordinate deadlines, and liaise with attorneys, courts, and clients.
Draft legal documents and correspondence, prepare court filings, manage large document databases, coordinate discovery, and assist with corporate closings and deals.
Utilize various software packages to maintain case-related documents, prepare presentations, create demonstratives, track deadlines and generate reports.

What We’re Looking For
Experience: 2-5 years of Paralegal experience. Degrees and paralegal certification are preferred.
Technical proficiency: familiarity with Westlaw, LexisNexis, Relativity, and other legal software.
Professional delivery: strong verbal and written communication, respectful collaboration, and objective-driven performance.
Calm under pressure: ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Time management and client service: excellent follow-through and confidentiality.
People-oriented and flexible: team player with a positive attitude; willing to work late or weekends if needed.
