Overview
Our client is looking for a Tax Manager to support their global organization with a focus on sustainable products. This position offers a dynamic opportunity for a tax professional to lead and execute complex tax functions within a global organization. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, optimize tax strategies, and contribute to operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review U.S. federal, state, and local income tax returns, including consolidated filings and supporting documentation. Assist with foreign informational returns (e.g., Forms 5471, 8858, 1118) and international disclosures. Support the preparation of domestic income tax provisions under ASC 740. Contribute to annual transfer pricing documentation for both local and global compliance, including Country-by-Country reporting. Conduct technical tax reviews and research complex tax issues. Provide advisory services for M&A transactions, including due diligence and structuring. Evaluate tax risks and recommend solutions for finance and accounting operations. Ensure compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Monitor legislative and regulatory tax developments and assess their impact on the organization. Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to support audits and ensure accurate reporting. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance tax reporting efficiency and accuracy. Train and mentor junior staff, fostering technical growth and professional development. Participate in cross-functional initiatives involving finance, legal, and operations teams. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's in Tax preferred. CPA license required. Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience, ideally with recent exposure to firm environments. Proven ability to manage multiple tax projects and lead client engagements. Experience with tax software. Compensation
Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr. The salary range is noted in this job posting. Compensation will be based on skills, experience, licensure, and geographic considerations. Eligible for discretionary bonuses and benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, and the company 401(k) retirement plan. Senioriry level
