Tours potential members through the club and describes the facility, equipment, services, and amenities that tie back to their individual fitness needs and goals. Ensures all guests are registered and entered into the system. Communicates membership and fitness offers using company-provided presentation tools. Signs up guests using company sales techniques and follows the Membership Agreement Procedure. On-boards new members and assists with member retention activities to drive club profitability. Consistently achieves or exceeds personal and team sales goals. Obtains leads externally from the community using company provided tools/programs (e.g., community outreach, local promotions, corporate on-sites). Generates leads/new business internally through member promotions, referrals, guest passes, and contacting leads by phone. Sets appointments for leads and potential new business opportunities. Maintains productivity and collaborates with the Membership Sales Manager to provide a member-centric experience that strengthens relationships and retention. Engages members with fitness offerings including personal training, group exercise classes, and Gold's Gym SoCal digital content. Maintains relationships with members and serves as a resource for questions, connecting them with the right resources as appropriate. Provides a clean, friendly, well-maintained club environment and helps new members become comfortable in the club. Qualifications & Must-Haves
Ability to use sound business judgment and strong analytical skills Strong communication and listening skills Effective delegation and follow-up abilities Effective planning and organization skills Demonstrates ability to create a positive environment and willingness for self-development Ability to identify and use resources to improve operations Strong leadership, motivational, communication, and team-building skills College degree preferred Current CPR Certification required Bilingual preferred Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs, and to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods in a professional demeanor and clean uniform. Benefits
