Overview
We are looking for an experienced HRIS Analyst to support our global Workday implementation across North America, Canada, UK and Australia. As HRIS Analyst you will be responsible for the maintenance, support, and optimization of the Human Capital Management (HCM) system—Workday. This role partners closely with HR functional leaders, IT, and business stakeholders to analyze business needs and configure the system to support this, including developing reporting for business stakeholders, configuring system and business process changes as required, and maintaining security groups and data integrity. Key responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert and system administrator for Workday HCM modules, such as Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, Talent, Learning, Absence, and Recruiting Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality Manage user access and security roles in compliance with governance policies Support initial implementation and ongoing Workday configuration updates, upgrades, and releases including regression testing and user acceptance Collaborate with HR and business leaders to maximize engagement with the Workday Maintain high standards of data integrity through regular audits and data cleansing activities Create and maintain documentation of data standards, business processes, and procedures Conduct root cause analysis on data issues and implement preventive solutions Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards to support business needs Provide insights and data analysis to HR leadership and other departments as needed Ensure compliance reporting requirements are met Lead or participate in HR technology initiatives, including system enhancements, module implementations, and process automation Drive continuous improvement by evaluating and recommending system and process changes Train HR team members and end-users on Workday and other HR systems functionality and enhancements Candidate profile
Workday HCM certification/accreditation is mandatory (provide evidence upon application) 3+ years of experience working with Workday as an HRIS Analyst or in a similar role Strong understanding of HR processes and data across the employee lifecycle 3+ years of experience working in a Human Resources generalist role Bachelor's degree in Human Resources desirable but not mandatory Project management experience, ideally in Workday deployments or upgrades Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong collaboration skills Flexibility to attend global calls outside of usual working hours as required Compensation
