We are seeking a Bookkeeper / Office Manager to contribute to a thriving, growing business. The ideal candidate is meticulous, tech-savvy, and skilled in both full-charge bookkeeping and office administration. The Opportunity
This is a full-time, hands-on role responsible for all day-to-day financial and administrative tasks. You will manage our books, streamline office procedures, and support the owner and our remote CFO. The ideal candidate will have extensive QuickBooks experience, advanced Excel (or GSuite) skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records and improving processes. Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Bookkeeping: Manage Accounts Payable (bill entry, payment scheduling) and Accounts Receivable (invoicing, collections). Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements and generate reports to help ownership evaluate business performance. Reconciliations: Perform daily and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and ensure accurate transaction categorization. Payroll & Benefits: Process payroll, manage pay rates, remit deductions, and administer employee benefits programs. General Ledger Maintenance: Book journal entries, manage account allocations, and maintain ledger integrity. Vendor Management: Onboard vendors, collect W-9s and banking information, and serve as primary contact. Office Administration: Manage renewals for company insurance policies, local permits, and licenses. Process Improvement: Maintain and refine protocols for financial tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications
Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on, full-charge bookkeeping experience, preferably in a business services environment. Education: Associate degree in Accounting or Business Administration required; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus. Technical Skills: Advanced QuickBooks proficiency; high proficiency in Microsoft Excel (or GSuite). Tech-savvy; training provided on CRM and internal processes. Accounting Knowledge: Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and the ability to prepare, review, and understand full financial statements. Professional Attributes: Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational and analytical skills, ability to work independently and with all departments. Spanish: a plus. Compensation & Benefits
