Base pay range: $68,640.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr Target Range: $68,640.00/Yr. - $70,000.00/Yr. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education. The Payroll & Benefits Specialist is an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while performing a variety of duties. This position reports to Finance & Accounting and will be responsible for daily activities for Benefits and Payroll administration. Responsibilities

Monitor new hire enrollments, life events, and other benefit related transactions in Workday Facilitate New Hire Office Hours and be point of contact for weekly new hires Prepare bi-weekly payment schedule for employees on leave of absence Calculate missed benefit deductions and manage collection process for employees on leave Perform customer service functions by answering payroll and benefits support tickets Respond to manager and employee requests/questions including claims assistance with third party vendors Perform benefit invoice reconciliations for each benefit carrier monthly and ensure payroll deductions are properly deducted Assist with annual open enrollment process for all entities Process file submissions for 401k, HSA, FSA and 529 plans biweekly Process various tasks associated with bi-weekly and monthly payroll processing for multiple entities Process final checks for separating employees Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports from Workday Participate in special projects as assigned Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, a qualifying benefits certification, or equivalent work experience 2+ years of experience using an HCM database as a practitioner 2+ years of benefits administration experience Familiar with 401(k), FSA, HSA, COBRA administration Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and have flexibility in working in a fast-paced team environment Strong written/verbal communication (employee communications and presentations) Proficient in Microsoft Office Custom Reporting experience in HCM system a plus Axos Employee Benefits May Include
