Overview
The Axos Events & Conferences Marketing team seeks an Event Marketing Sr. Specialist to help drive the success of marketing priorities and initiatives through multiple marketing channels, with a focus on conferences, tradeshows, sponsorships, and client experiences. The role involves building strategy with senior leadership, creating a portfolio of strategic events and key sponsorships, and driving high brand standards at industry gatherings. The Events and Conferences portfolio includes high-touch client entertainment events, seminars and roundtables with internal subject matter experts, industry sponsorships and conferences, and managing pre- and post-event touchpoints as part of multi-touch, multi-channel campaigns. This role works closely with business stakeholders, marketing partners, and other functions to ensure day-to-day marketing execution, delivering materials and campaigns on time and with quality, and tracking performance metrics. Compensation and Benefits Target Range: $70,000.00/Yr. - $83,200.00/Yr. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education. Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10% and Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%. These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon achievement of performance goals and targets. Project management, including campaign/event/project oversight and handling requests from business partners Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure marketing efforts align with the overall business strategy With the support of the marketing shared services team, oversee development of marketing materials, manage campaigns and projects, and track performance metrics Develop and manage relationships with external partners and vendors Analyze market trends and client insights to inform marketing strategies Measure and report on the effectiveness of events and related campaigns Review deliverables from the Marketing shared services group to ensure brand, messaging, audience alignment, accuracy, consistency, and compliance Strategic planning for quarterly and yearly events portfolio including content and program development Execute logistics for venues, contracting, décor, materials, branding, and AV for in-person and virtual events Improve marketing quality by evaluating processes and proposing changes Manage the corporate event calendar and related communications Coordinate content, messaging, design, and tracking of marketing efforts across paid media, email, print, direct mail, broadcast, website, social, SEO, and other channels Conduct special projects and other marketing support as necessary Manage tradeshow and promotional item inventory and distribution Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or work equivalent) 7+ years of experience in events (corporate or tradeshow) Strong project management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with business executives Ability to schedule and meet deadlines in a deadline-sensitive environment Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and complex processes Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize work under pressure Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Interaction Studio Willingness to travel at least 30% (could increase with seasonality) Ability to lift and carry materials over 25 lbs Efficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio) Seniority level
