Employment Litigation Associate
with 2-6 years of experience in employment litigation. This role involves handling a diverse range of employment litigation matters, with a particular focus on California wage-hour class action claims and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) cases. Key Responsibilities: Manage and litigate employment-related claims, including wage-hour class actions and PAGA cases. Draft and respond to discovery, initial pleadings, and other case-related documentation. Prepare and argue motions in state and federal courts. Take and defend depositions with confidence and professionalism. Work collaboratively with the legal team and independently to develop and implement effective case strategies. Maintain a high level of client service while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in the California State Bar (required). 2-6 years of experience in employment litigation, with a strong emphasis on California wage-hour class actions and PAGA cases. Excellent academic credentials and a proven track record of success in litigation. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
