We have an outstanding fractional attorney role with a global industrial technology company based in the Dallas metro area. This attorney will work remotely with occasional in-office time twice a month for collaboration with leadership on critical issues. This publicly traded company seeks additional legal support and strategic legal guidance on specific matters for a period of 60-90 days, possibly more. The ideal candidate will have experience with global employment issues and counseling as well as general commercial litigation. Immediate needs include integration of newly acquired companies and their employment policies and practices; review and analysis of outside counsel cases and invoices; draft templates for separation agreements and NDAs; develop online employee trainings; field employment and litigation questions from internal clients; draft demand letters; handle customer disputes before and during active litigation. Type of role: Contract, In-house Counsel Schedule: 20 hours a week Location: Mostly remote with occasional in-office near Dallas, Texas Qualifications
5 or more years practicing employment litigation and counseling for sophisticated, public companies General litigation experience, including customer disputes, drafting demand letters and litigation management to minimize costs and risks Both private practice and in-house legal department experience preferred Any US state bar license Compensation and Benefits
Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 or more on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and candidate preference. Benefits: Professional liability insurance; benefits for contract engagements; group medical, dental, and vision insurance; group life, LTD and AD&D insurance; 401k plan; CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
