Position Overview Employee Benefits Sales Producer – Employee Benefits Client Advisor. World’s Client Advisors bring risk management solutions to businesses and individuals. The primary focus is identifying, prospecting, cultivating, and closing new commercial clients (small, medium, large). While the focus is selling commercial lines risk solutions, Advisors are empowered to help clients with personal lines insurance, employee benefits, 401(k) and related retirement solutions, and payroll and human resources outsourcing solutions. Our Client Advisors help clients experience a modern alternative to employee benefits by using data and forensic underwriting to drive superior financial outcomes while helping clients attract, retain, and motivate talent. Responsibilities
Identify, solicit, and close new Employee Benefits business.
Utilize cold calls, prospecting emails, mail, professional associations, and networking to identify, contact, cultivate and close opportunities.
Identify opportunities to bring all World’s solutions to clients beyond employee benefits and pursue the associated financial rewards.
Identify exposures, make recommendations, and create custom programs to eliminate gaps in coverage.
Identify opportunities to round out accounts for existing clients.
Drive account retention and maintain client relationships through renewal workflows.
Qualifications
3-5+ years of experience in an insurance brokerage or carrier environment.
Personable and highly motivated to grow personal success.
Excellent listening skills with a strong customer focus, sense of urgency, and ability to meet deadlines.
Consultative approach with prospective clients and colleagues.
Experience with Employee Benefits and sales software platforms such as BenefitPoint and CRMs like HubSpot.
Ability to work independently while engaging with team members.
Proven teamwork, motivation, positive behavior, and goal-oriented effort.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail with problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated discretion with sensitive information.
Compensation As a World Insurance Client Advisor, compensation is tied to effort and performance. Base salary plus commissions with a full benefits package, including immediately fully vested 401(k) match. Base salary range: $80,000 to $200,000+ depending on experience and ability to drive revenue, with growth as the book of business expands.
