We are looking for the best and brightest hardware technicians with 2 or more years of experience to join our innovative information technology team. Positions are located in various parts of Maryland, such as Columbia.
Responsibilities include:
Performing maintenance and sustainment of existing networks.
Identifying and correcting network issues.
Resolving routine network problems using network analyzers, WAN test equipment, and network simulators.
Monitoring data or voice system networks for messages, alarms, or issues.
Activating scripts during alarms or issues.
Confirming message accuracy and determining problem severity.
Initiating appropriate resolutions and troubleshooting using scripts and routine procedures.
Researching issues to determine if they can be resolved with predefined procedures.
Documenting results and communicating issues and actions taken.
Executing scheduled maintenance routines.
Identifying and resolving issues or escalating when necessary.
Managing network lines according to schedules.
Performing first- and second-level problem determination.
Interfacing with users and network vendors.
Following detailed work instructions.

Minimum Requirements:
Active high-level authorization to view nondisclosed information, requiring an investigative screening exam.
Verification of provided information and a security background check are required.
What You Will Get to Do:
Experience with installation and configuration of network devices.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Effective time and priority management skills.
Ability to work remotely with end-users.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Must be able to drive a company vehicle.
Availability for an 8-hour shift between 6am and 6pm.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as carrying, pushing, pulling, and working in tight spaces.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in programs of similar scope.
Associate's degree in engineering technology or equivalent experience.
