LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a company near Oak Brook, IL with a search for a staff accountant. This is a permanent role and onsite. They require a Bachelors degree in Accounting and at least 1 year of experience as an accountant.
Responsibilities:
Support month end close
Prepare journal entries
Reconcile accounts
Analyze GL accounts and variance analysis
Discrepancy resolution
Monthly and yearly reporting
Ad hoc projects, analysis and reporting
Required:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in an accountant role
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Comfortable with Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a team
Knowledge of GAAP accounting
Must be very detailed and analytical
Benefits offered may include: health, dental and vision insurance, 2 weeks PTO, 401K
Salary: $55K-$65K
