The Pozez Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia (Pozez JCC), located in Fairfax, Virginia, is a nonprofit, social service organization that builds community and enriches lives. Summary of Position:
The Pozez JCC of Northern Virginia requires the talents and skills of a Salesforce Administrator/Systems Manager. As a non-profit organization, the Pozez JCC utilizes industry specific software that is built on the Salesforce platform. In this role, duties will include creating user accounts, maintaining databases, troubleshooting issues, coordinating with third-party vendors, and training staff on the effective use of Salesforce products and other software programs.
To ensure success as a Salesforce administrator, the candidate should have experience in Salesforce system administration and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As the Systems Manager, this position will work with all internal departments and create efficiencies in our customer relations management system. This position serves as the primary clearinghouse for data and information management within our organization.
Qualifications: Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification. A bachelor's degree or other comparable education and training 2-3 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator in a similar environment. Experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems. Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration. In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities. Proficiency in creating Salesforce profiles, allocating roles, and managing access. Ability to provide Salesforce training and end-user support. Prior experience working with a non-profit preferred. Accounting knowledge or experience preferred . Ensuring optimal performance of Salesforce and other systems and products. Managing Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, flows, and groups. Building custom Salesforce reports and dashboards. Performing database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests, duplicate entry management, and Salesforce/third-party upgrades. Working with all departments to ensure programmatic information is shared correctly. Training employees on and creating SOPs in records, data, program, and membership management. Serving as liaison between third-party vendors, staff, and system customer support, including troubleshooting account and Experience Cloud issues with members. Digitizing day-to-day procedures and creating realistic solutions for departments to grow and succeed. Customizing Salesforce to fit Center’s needs, including creating new apps, formula fields, objects, and flows. Managing any new integrations or upgrades of software in relation to the Salesforce platform Designing and optimizing page layouts, record types, and Lightning pages for better usability Developing cross-object reports and custom report types for program, facility, and finance insights. Partnering with department heads to gather requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions. Driving automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and increase efficiency. Hours: 40 hours per week: Monday–Friday Pay Range: $70,000-$74,000 This position description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
