Overview Join our growing integrations team in Prague, focusing on building modern, scalable integrations with ServiceNow. This team is part of a broader initiative to bring integrations in-house and unify how Staffbase interacts with third-party platforms.

You’ll work with modern web technologies to deliver customer-facing tools that streamline IT workflows and workplace automations. The ServiceNow track is best suited to engineers who enjoy backend problem solving but also want to shape user-facing features.

This is an initial 12-month fixed term contract with the view of becoming a long-term opportunity as we grow our Prague hub.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain integrations between Staffbase and ServiceNow’s REST APIs

Collaborate on both backend and frontend features to create cohesive user journeys

Use Java/Kotlin for backend services, and React/TypeScript for frontend components

Ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability of integration services

Work closely with other integration teams to align on architecture and shared tooling

Take ownership and help shape how we build and scale integrations as a platform

What you need to be successful

5+ years of Software Engineering experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and frontend best practices

Solid experience with Java/Kotlin on the backend

Understanding of REST APIs and integration patterns

Strong backend mindset with curiosity and flexibility to contribute across the stack

Experience with ServiceNow or similar enterprise systems is a bonus

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

You have great enthusiasm for learning and adapting in a scale-up SaaS environment

You are a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team

Understanding and appreciation of diversity and inclusivity in the workplace

Excellent English communication skills
