Job Description A growing IT team is seeking a QA Engineer to help lead the design and implementation of automated testing strategies for critical business applications. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and technical teams to enhance testing coverage and ensure product reliability.

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and plans to ensure software quality

Collaborate on test strategy for new features and complex product workflows

Identify, document, and track defects using agile tracking tools

Serve as a testing subject matter expert for product teams and stakeholders

Champion quality assurance best practices within the software development lifecycle

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience

5+ years in software QA or testing roles

Strong experience in designing and executing automated tests

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Excellent communication and analytical skills

Additional Qualifications

Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a similar field

Familiarity with automation frameworks like Selenium or TestComplete

Experience with observability tools and agile planning platforms such as Azure DevOps

Background in the insurance or financial services industry

Understanding of property/casualty products and insurance terminology
