I. RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY 1. Cost Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze supply chain costs, including logistics, warehousing, and inventory management, to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare regular financial reports and analyses related to supply chain performance and cost management.
Track and report on key supply chain metrics, providing insights to support decision-making.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting:
Assist in developing and managing the supply chain budget, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
Support forecasting, monitor actual performance against forecasts, and analyze variances.
3. Operational Support:
Collaborate with supply chain teams to provide financial guidance on inventory, vendor negotiations, and logistics.
Participate in cross-functional projects impacting the supply chain, providing financial input.
4. Process Optimization:
Identify and implement process improvements within supply chain finance, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency.
Assist in developing financial tools and systems to enhance operations.
II. REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related; MBA or CPA is a plus.
Skills:
Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven track record in financial performance and process improvements. Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software.
Experience:
3-5 years in finance, preferably in supply chain or manufacturing industries.
